Scott Cimock is currently a free-lance Creative/Art Director / Designer working in New York City.

For the past several years, Scott has been focusing his creative efforts developing a transaction based SaaS for the digital publishing arena.  After years of strategic development, the SaaS has evolved into a streamlined content optimization platform that disaggregates content, making smarter and more profitable connections between content, consumers, publishers and brands in the new digital landscape.  The SaaS, called Vemba, is now positioned as the leading intelligent video exchange and video recommendation platform, enabling buyers and sellers of digital media to more efficiently and transparently monetize video content across all devices.  Scott is a major stakeholder in Vemba and continues to support the organization as a US sales and marketing consultant. Scott was an early adopter of web based software principles in the creative space, leading his own technology-award winning Creative Firm and Production Company.

As a Creative / Art Director / Designer, Scott  is responsible for managing the overall brand image and overseeing the ’œHigh-Polish’ production and implementation of engaging and dynamic strategic marketing solutions for all of his clients. When the client makes the jump from information to intuition Scott helps guide the clients’™ brand image down a creative and strategic path. He has successfully ensured aesthetic continuity, High-end production values and compelling communications across all mediums, touch-points and collateral materials for a plethora of brands strategically maximizing their marketing budgets. Scott specializes in nourishing and developing his team’™s best ideas and pushing the work beyond clients’ expectations.

At his former company Thrust Design Group, Scott developed Branding / Corporate Identity Packages, Advertising Campaigns, Websites, Promotions, Public Relations, Events and Viral Efforts for  clients including: Tyra Banks, Bankable Productions, Carlos Santana, Chris Webber, Jay Manuel, Steven Sebring and many more. From Strategic Brand development for Online Platforms  to the initial development and production of Tyra Banks’™ cultural phenomenon Reality Television show America’™s Next Top Model (which is now syndicated in 170 countries worldwide ) Scott has applied his well managed production processes, high-end aesthetic and elegant sensibilities to execute a wide variety of creative solutions all the while elevating the overall image clients’™ brands and telling their stories in dynamic and engaging ways.

Before Founding Thrust Scott held the post as Partner / Executive Creative Director at Lux Imaging a digital imaging production company where he managed accounts for some of the world’™s leading Brands, Advertising Agencies, Fashion Photographers and Publishers including;  (Deutsch, JWT, Amirati, Sony, Snapple, Almay,  Tiffany’s, Bank of America, Verizon… and many more ), Publishers ’“ (GQ, Vanity Fair, Details, Glamour, New York Magazine, Vibe, The Source’¦), Legends and rising stars of the Fashion Photography World including  – (Mark Seliger, Hiro, Dahlen, Mike Ruiz’¦ to name a few). Scott’s contributions to and leadership of Lux Imaging were confirmed when it was successfully acquired by Pascal Dangin’s world famous Box Studios.

Prior to Joining Lux Scott was the Co-Founder and Executive Co-Creative Director at Anton & Partners where he ran luxury brands such as Maserati, Ferrari, Taittinger, Piranesi, Loro Piana, Villeroy & Boch, Equinox and Gruner + Jahr Publishing. He oversaw everything from advertising to interactive, promotions, public relations and events for the brands.

Scott started his career at Foote Cone and Belding, New York, working on AT&T, Fila, LifeSavers, Serengeti Eyewear, Various RJR Nabisco brands including Carefree Sugarless Gum.  Most notably, Scott’s contribution to the Fila team’s “Change the Game” Campaign helped drive sales from $250 million to $550 in just three years as the upstart brand won “the race for number three” in US athletic footwear.

Scott has won many industry creative awards, including Webby, Addy, Andy, Cannes, Clio, Awny, and has been featured in Archive, Adweeks ’œtop spots’ and Communication Arts.

Scott attended Ringling College of Art and Design where he majored in Advertising Design and minored in graphic design.

Scott is a New York City transplant but after 2 decades in New York considers himself a native and calls the concrete jungle his home.
